The Wedding
“When Kate and Sam reached out to me about their cabin wedding, I was so excited because I loved everything about their vision for their day. They wanted to celebrate their wedding, surrounded by their closest friends and family, in a beautiful location. They found End of the Road Ranch – a property that holds 6 cabins, that could accommodate their guests (and their pup Bryce of course), tucked away in the mountains just outside of the town of New Castle. They spent the days leading up to their wedding hiking around the area, exploring the property, playing yard games, sitting around the fire, and just enjoying time with their people. The property features a winding river, breathtaking mountain views, rolling fields, a sauna, a plunge pond, and so much more to do. It’s the perfect place to unwind and be present. On the morning of their wedding day, Kate and Sam got ready in separate cabins, letting the anticipation build for the moment they would first see each other. Once Kate was ready, she made her way down to the sauna cabin, where Sam waited for her on the deck, overlooking the pond to have their first look. They chose to get married on the bank of the river, with the light flooding in through the pine trees behind them. Their ceremony was filled with so much emotion, there wasn’t a dry eye (including my own!). After their ceremony, all of their guests danced down the aisle – which was one of my favorite moments I’ve witnessed at a wedding! We ran around through the rolling fields, taking photos as the sun set behind the trees. We discovered not one, but two praying mantis that had crawled onto Kate, which has to be good luck! Everyone danced, Sam played the harmonica, and then they all celebrated with a beautiful dinner to end the day.”
