One thing old, a little something new Something borrowed, a thing blue. It is the latter of these wedding day traditions that caught my eye when I was 1st launched to Annie and Sam’s multicultural wedding day with blue and white hydrangeas. But a second perusal experienced me appreciating the old traditions – crimson + gold lanterns and blue + white ginger jars nodding to the bride’s Asian heritage and Union Jack bunting and that legendary red telephone booth emblazened with the British crown paying out homage to the groom’s. As for what was borrowed? I suppose you could say eskimo kisses from the couple’s tux-donning English bulldog, Rex, and their lovable “pandemic baby”. As objectively wonderful as the fresh new-clipped blooms from BM Floral Botanica (are you kidding me with all those blue hydrangeas marriage bouquets + aisle markers?!) and good style and design facts coordinated by Joyful Events by Gaby undoubtedly have been, it was the stolen glances captured by Leslie Margarita Images that actually designed our hearts soften. The bridesmaids fawning above Annie’s elegant dress reveal, the tap-tap on Sam’s shoulder before he sees his bride for the to start with time, the twilight kiss beneath the arbor or white roses… it is a love tale we’ll be telling again and yet again (and for very good measure, once more).
From the Photographer, Leslie Margarita Photography: This unique covid rescheduled wedding featured a numerous fusion of the bride and groom’s cultural chinese and british backgrounds with a wonderful “something blue” contact to their yard marriage. Two special company built an look that day! Their “bonus” pandemic infant and their 1st fur infant, Rex.
The yard attraction is powerful in this Houston marriage ceremony with blue and white hydrangeas (not compared with this Fairhope, Alabama consider on the iconic selection). The few was radiant, the traditions were being strong and the guest listing was full – what more could you ask for in a marriage in the beginning postponed from the pandemic? Annie and Sam are optimism personified, and we truly feel so lucky to have shared their tale with you nowadays.
