Happy Thursday lovely people! The sun is shining brightly in Kent today and my goodness am I loving it! Summer is coming and with it so many weddings! Are you getting married this year? 2022, due to the pandemic, is set to be the busiest wedding season yet for full weddings and we are so excited. Gone are the restrictions and we for one are so excited for what is going to be weekend after weekend of so much joy and so much love.

Talking of joy, we have an awesome styled inspiration wedding shoot to share with your eyes today. Full of colour, fun, beautiful retro styling ideas and a wealth of awesome UK wedding suppliers. From the 70’s disco vibe in the stationery, and aspects of the decor (we see you disco balls), to the lush orange pinky hues of the flowers and table setting – it is dream. We especially LOVE the bride’s gorgeous two piece with it’s bohemian design and the epic cake complete with a section of disco balls that light up – such a great idea!

I scroll a lot and stopped in my tracks, I’m an IG addict. There I said it but when I saw the silo barn pop-up I just knew I needed to shoot there. I mean all those industrial vibes entwined with the rustic wood, how could you not get inspired! I thought ‘Ooooh that’s a bit of me!’ The venue screamed fun, original and raw, not your usual wedding type barn. When I was looking for a wedding venue for myself back in 2019 this would have been exactly what I was after. Nothing round here is quite like it but sadly, for me Willow Grange didn’t exist so I got to recreate my dream wedding in this shoot.

A wedding to me should be about you, the couple and celebrate the world you guys have created together not making sure Auntie Flo is happy with her specially bought in sherry she just has to have. I firmly believe your photos should reflect that too, after all they are the only part of your day that you get to relive for a lifetime aren’t they. They should show the fun you guys had had, how you did it your way. Include your passions to create a banging and unique day just for the two of you to remember and if your guest had fun, well that’s just the icing on the cake isn’t it. Willow Grange Farm gives the perfect setting for all of this, it even comes with its own glamping site for the party to keep going as long as you can keep it up for.

When starting to plan this shoot I just knew clashing colours and disco balls had to feature in this one but I wanted it to marry up with my love of all things boho too so welcome to the Neon boho disco. I am fully aware i am not an expert in any area of creating an epic wedding, i just know how to capture it so my approach was to find a kick ass team who shared the overarching theme and let them create in the way they want to. Micro managing is definitely not in my bones and when a client does it to me, I can’t deliver my best self, I’m stifled so I took this approach from the get-go. This isn’t for everyone mind and we swtitched the team up a bit but the final line up delivered something truly inspiring don’t you think?
