Girraween National Park Elopement – Polka Dot Wedding

With a wedding ceremony prepared in Italy Alison and Danny did not want to skip out on their love of the Australian bush for their wedding day – and what greater way to honour it than creating your marriage formal with a person of the country’s lovely Countrywide parks as your backdrop? “We were being in the beginning booked to have a registry office environment authorized only ceremony but I cancelled the day before” defined Alison. “I understood we wanted one thing more adventurous thrilling and enjoyable. We preferred it to be relaxed with just the two of us, and that’s just what it was. We did not have any readings. We just cherished that we obtained to take pleasure in the full working day at our possess speed with no possessing to hurry all-around and that we acquired to include things like some of our favourite items, adventures and hikes.”

Alison’s entertaining marriage mini dress was procured from Lace & beads via Asos. “For my costume I needed a thing fully unique and exciting, absolutely nothing like I would ever dress in but seeing as we were now on a strict spending budget my solutions had been constrained. I wore burgundy boots and a black denim jacket, for a fun biker/badass design.” And for Danny? “He wore a burgundy jacket from Connor and a white shirt and chinos with brown shoes and a belt. We considered burgundy would go perfectly with our place.”

“When capturing photographs straight just after the ceremony in the granite arch, Elly our photographer, asked Danny to whisper the title of his favorite vegetable in my ear and he mentioned tomato and we burst out laughing mainly because I experienced to tell him that it is a fruit. It was just so amusing and the shots of us laughing so tricky will normally remind me of that.”

Alison carried a bouquet of dried flowers from Dried Blooms she made into a bouquet. “To elope at the park we weren’t permitted to have seeding flowers etcetera so I went with dried bouquets. I found some inspiration on Pinterest, ordered dried stems on Etsy, and made my bouquet and Danny’s buttonhole myself. I adored how they turned out.”
