Lynn was the admissions director for a expert nursing facility and Joe was the clinical director. They experienced crossed paths a lot of situations, but never officially fulfilled until 2017. Like several engaged couples in 2020, they experienced to postpone their wedding due to the fact of COVID-19. Lynn and Joe determined to have a tiny ceremony at Joe’s church, Saint Anthony’s, on June 6 and prepared for the huge wedding ceremony in 2021. As it was Lynn’s very first time getting married (which is ideal – in her sixties!), it was specifically significant for her to have family members and mates go to.

Lynn and Joe had their ceremony at Calvary Christian Church. During the ceremony, The Silver Leaf Quartet performed alongside with trumpeter Sam Huss. Joe presented Lynn with another diamond wedding band that, to Lynn, will always represent the struggle of obtaining a marriage through a pandemic. The common ceremony was adopted by an elegant ballroom reception at The Dominion Club.

Whilst Lynn couldn’t decide on her favourite element of the working day, Joe’s most loved was the food. As she says, “typical guy!”
